Only In The Valley!
Gladys Porter Zoo veterinarian Dr. Thomas deMaar examined a Patas monkey that was turned over to the zoo in Brownsville after it was finally caught in Mission, Texas on May 14 by animal control officers. The monkey had evaded animal control officers for weeks. A variety of tests were performed to assess the physical condition of the monkey, including a TB test, x-rays and a general physical.
